Engineered with Norton's next-generation seeded-gel ceramic alumina grain, Blaze R980P medium grit cloth narrow benchstand belts deliver cooler cutting with better metal integrity and last 50 to 200 percent longer than other belts when working cobalt, chrome, Inconel, titanium, and carbon and stainless steels. The lubricating grinding aid coating ensures cooler, burn-free grinding during heat-sensitive work to provide excellent finishes and maintain part integrity with minimal loading. A durable, waterproof, Y-weight polyester cloth backing improves grain adhesion, reduces edge-fray and provides better body retention for improved product consistency over extended use.
