MIG- GMAW
Metal Inert Gas or Gas Metal Arc Welding
- Uses a continuous electrode.
- Can be used on all weldable metals.
- Easy to learn.
- High deposition rate and travel speed.
- Requires fewer stops and starts.
- Produces clean, slag free welds.
- Can be used in all positions.
TIG- GTAW
Tungsten Inert Gas or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
- Uses a tungsten to generate the arc.
- Filler material is manually fed into the weld puddle.
- Ideal for thin materials and controlled heat input.
- More precise process giving the operator precise control over the weld.
- More difficult to learn and requires coordination.
STICK- SMAW
Stick or Shielded Metal Arc Welding
- Uses a continuous electrode.
- Can be used on all weldable metals.
- Easy to learn.
- High deposition rate and travel speed.
- Requires fewer stops and starts.
- Produces clean, slag free welds.
Engine Driven Welding Equipment
Portable machines with built-in welding and generator output
- Processes can be achieved with either the built-in weld output, or the generator output powering a stand alone machine.
- Gas, Propane & Diesel options available
Plasma-PAC Cutting
Plasma or Plasma Arc Cutting
- Gases ionize, become electrically charged, then are forced through a small orifice creating plasma gas at 40,000 degrees which quickly pierces the base material and blows away the molten metal.
- Cuts through any conductive material with precision.
- Very minimal HAF or heat affected zone, reducing material deformation.
Oxy/Fuel Cutting
Burning Torch or Flame Cutting
- Uses pure oxygen and a fuel gas to cut through various materials.
- Heat from the torch is used to raise the temperature to 1800 degrees, then oxygen is directed to the heated area using a fine high-pressure steam. The material oxidizes and is blown away during the process
- Base material limitations: will not work on Stainless, Aluminum, Copper or Brass.
